EV Logistics was formed in 1999 through a partnership between two successful logistics companies; Exel Logistics and VersaCold Logistics Services.
Exel is part of the supply chain division of Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s leading logistics group, with more than 285,000 employees in more than 220 countries and territories around the world and 2011 annual revenues of more than 55 billion euros.
VersaCold operates the largest cold storage network in Canada with more than 33 temperature-controlled warehouses and distribution centres and a national fleet of trucks that provide local/regional/national transportation servicing every province across the country.
We provide third-party logistics services specializing in multiple temperatures and multiple commodities. With the expertise of our two parent companies, we are well-equipped to manage the complex supply chain needs for our clients. Whether it’s just-in-time produce, frozen products, locally-sourced health and beauty products, grocery or promotional items, we provide excellent service to our clients.
With a combined workforce of almost 650 employees — one of the largest in the Fraser Valley — EV Logistics operates two distinct distribution centers, providing grocery distribution for one of Western Canada's largest grocery retailers. The Ambient facility opened in 2001, and after 2 expansion projects now operates a 485,000 sq ft dry goods warehouse. The Perishable facility began in Abbotsford’s landmark Baker Cold Storage, and in 2010 moved to their new location, now operating in a 380,000 sq ft refrigerated warehouse. Both distribution centres are located in the Gloucester Industrial Park, Langley, B.C, Canada.
